Japan is to publish data on the current account, as well as revised data on third quarter economic growth. Japan is to publish the BSI manufacturing index and a report on tertiary industry activity. China is to release data on industrial production and fixed asset investment. Australia is to produce data on home loans, as well as private sector data on business confidence. The U.K. is to publish data on manufacturing and industrial production and the trade balance. ECB President Mario Draghi is to speak at an event in Rome; his comments will be closely watched.

Australia is to release private sector data on consumer sentiment. Japan is to release a report on core machinery orders, a leading indicator of production. The RBNZ is to announce its benchmark interest rate and publish its rate statement, which outlines economic conditions and the factors affecting the bank’s decision.
