BOE: Ahead of the BOE rate and asset purchase facility decision on Thursday analyst expectations are below:
* Citi expect no change in rate but extra Stg50bln in QE to Stg375bln.
* Morgan Stanley expect rates to remain on hold, extra Stg50bln in QE.
* Lloyds expects no change in rate, extra Stg50bln in QE
* Deutsche Bank no change in rates, Stg50bln extra in QE
* Daiwa expect no change to policy until July.
* Rabobank expect no change in rates and QE, expect QE increase in Aug.
* Soc Gen expect no change this month, but keep door open for more QE later in the year.
* Goldman sees no change in rates and QE, but risks have clearly shifted to the downside.
* Barclays expect no change in policy, rate held at 0.5% and QE on hold
* RBS expects MPC to maintain current policy settings, maybe one member to join David Miles in voting for extra QE
* Santander expect no change in policy, see inflation as “sticky”
